Lindsay Clement teaching exercise for women.

Hi I’m Lindsay, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I found my passion helping women just like you understand their bodies while reaching their fitness potential. My goal is to redefine exercise for the modern woman and to take away the taboo conversations around pelvic floor health. We all have one, why not train it the way it’s meant to be trained and reduce any side effects of dysfunction?

Based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, I am a Clinical Exercise Physiologist as well as a Pre & Postnatal Exercise Specialist with over 13 years experience. I started Movement to Bloom because I recognized gaps in both our healthcare and mainstream fitness worlds.

Have you ever asked yourself “can I safely exercise during pregnancy?” “I have gestational diabetes, what exercises should I be doing?” “When can I be active again after I give birth and what should I be doing that is safe and effective so that I recover properly from labor?” “Are the discomforts that I feel as a woman normal and something that happens with age (dribble or pee when I laugh too hard, sneeze, or jump, painful intercourse, decreasing bone density)?”

My hope is to help women like you develop a new appreciation and trust in your body. Providing recovery, functional movements, as well as proper techniques around core and intensity, I want you to thrive through pregnancy, motherhood, and beyond!

kind words from clients

"Lindsay is lovely. After an initial consultation and a review of my goals, Lindsay developed a customized plan for my individual capabilities. Lindsay works with me in my home and each time she assesses my needs and adjusts the workout so I get the maximum benefit from the exercises. She is encouraging and gives me tips on how to improve my form and technique and leaves me with a set of skills and exercises that I can incorporate into my daily routine. She guides me through various exercises focusing on breathing, stability, and strength. I am already feeling stronger and more confident.

As soon as I met her I knew we would work great together. She takes great interest in my overall wellbeing; she has even followed up our sessions with a text just to check on me. She is so supportive, caring, and knowledgeable, and she motivates me to want to continue with my daily exercise regime."

"I am so happy I found Lindsay and Movement to Bloom. I am 5 months post c-section and I had no idea this type of service existed. Her absolute professionalism and kindness eased my concerns and made me very comfortable. I really thought I would be uncomfortable and in pain for the rest of my life. Working with Lindsay showed me that in no way did I have to accept that as my new normal. She's bringing me back to a place where I can do everything I could before pregnancy with no discomfort or pain. She also equipped me with the confidence, knowledge, and resources to stay there and her explanation and guidance for my home exercises have allowed me to continue my recovery. I honestly can't thank Lindsay enough."
